Planned travel itinerary:

DAY 1. DEPARTURE CITY – LAS VEGAS

Welcome. Transfer to the hotel and free time. In the afternoon, you will receive information about the start of your tour, either in person or through the information boards located at the hotel reception. In the afternoon, we include a walk through Downtown and the famous Strip, the avenue lined with hotels, casinos and shows that have turned this city into a true theme park for adults. In the evening, we will optionally offer a Las Vegas by night tour.

DAY 2. LAS VEGAS – GRAND CANYON – FLAGSTAFF

We depart early for Arizona, stopping in SELIGMAN, located on the historic ROUTE 66, before continuing to the GRAND CANYON. One of the greatest natural wonders in the world and a symbol of the American West. Arrival in mid-morning, with entrance to the park included. With our guide and our coach, we will visit Bright Angel View Point and then Mather Point, both spectacular viewpoints over 2,000 metres above the river. Optionally, passengers may take a scenic flight excursion. At the end of the afternoon, transfer to the hotel.

DAY 3. FLAGSTAFF – LAS VEGAS

After breakfast, we head towards Nevada, passing Hoover Dam, which we will view from the coach (without stopping), before reaching our lunch stop. Continuation to LAS VEGAS. In the afternoon, we include a transfer to one of the city’s most famous outlet centres. Free evening to attend one of the many shows: concerts, theatres, or the wonderful Cirque du Soleil.

DAY 4. LAS VEGAS – DEATH VALLEY – BAKERSFIELD

After breakfast, an early start for a different kind of day: today we cross Death Valley, the largest natural park in the United States, discovering a place of striking extremes. We will stop for a photo at the cinematic Zabriskie Point and visit the lowest point in North America: Badwater, 85 metres below sea level. Before leaving the park, we include a typical Far West lunch. Afterwards, crossing the central mountains and skirting Lake Isabella, we will arrive in BAKERSFIELD.

DAY 5. BAKERSFIELD – SEQUOIA NATIONAL PARK – FRESNO

After breakfast, we set out to immerse ourselves in one of the most impressive forests in the United States, home to an extraordinary inhabitant: the Giant Sequoias. We will visit Sequoia National Park. We will photograph, among others, General Sherman, the largest tree in the world, and walk among these giants of nature. Continuation to Fresno.

DAY 6. FRESNO – YOSEMITE – SAN FRANCISCO

After breakfast, we head to another great natural park: Yosemite. Its soaring cliffs, waterfalls and vegetation combine to make this famous valley one of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in the world. We will see its great icons: El Capitan, Half Dome and its waterfalls. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we continue towards SAN FRANCISCO. Arrival at the end of the afternoon.

DAY 7. SAN FRANCISCO

After breakfast, we include a city tour. We will pass through Union Square with its cable cars, the famous Chinatown, the Financial District, the Theatre District, Civic Center and Alamo Square, where we will see the famous painted Victorian houses contrasted against the modern city skyline, backdrop to countless films. We will pass through the Castro district before reaching Twin Peaks, where we will enjoy a panoramic view of the city and the bay.

We continue through the historic hippie district of Haight-Ashbury and then on to Golden Gate Park, where we will make a stop. We continue to the Golden Gate Bridge, where the city tour ends. Free afternoon, during which you may take an optional excursion to the town of Sausalito, with incredible views of San Francisco and the bay. In the evening, we include a night transfer to North Beach, Little Italy, the true heart of the city’s nightlife, full of restaurants.

DAY 8. SAN FRANCISCO – MONTEREY – CARMEL – SAN LUIS OBISPO

After breakfast, we depart for Monterey, with time to walk along Cannery Row, where former canning factories have now been transformed into restaurants and leisure venues. After some free time, we continue to Carmel, an attractive tourist town, where we will stroll among its elegant shops and art galleries. We continue to San Luis Obispo, a pleasant town for our overnight stay.

DAY 9. SAN LUIS OBISPO – SANTA BARBARA – LOS ANGELES

Breakfast and departure for LOS ANGELES. We will stop to see SANTA BARBARA, with its impressive Mission and streets of Mediterranean architecture lined with shops and restaurants. After some free time, we continue towards Los Angeles. At the end of the afternoon, we include a transfer to Downtown Disney to enjoy its lively streets and restaurants.

DAY 10. LOS ANGELES

After breakfast, we include a panoramic tour of this vast city. The tour includes the Music Center, Civic Center and Financial District, passing by LA Live and Staples Center. We continue along Wilshire Boulevard, heading west through Koreatown and the La Brea Tar Pits to reach Beverly Hills. We continue along Sunset Boulevard to Hollywood, where we will find the Walk of Fame with its thousands of stars, the Dolby Theatre, the Chinese Theatre and the Hollywood sign.

Free time to stroll and have lunch. At the end of the afternoon, we include a transfer to Long Beach, where palm trees blend with glass-fronted buildings. You will have time at Shoreline Village to walk around and dine at its lively restaurants facing the Queen Mary ocean liner.

DAY 11. LOS ANGELES – DEPARTURE CITY

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to return to your departure city, if this service has been booked through us.

• You may share a room with another traveller, which makes the price more advantageous for you. If, in the end, the room is occupied only by you, the price will not be affected and you will have the room to yourself.
• From June to October, Death Valley is replaced by Calico Ghost Town due to high temperatures and park closures.
